Privacy Policy

Public policy for PhotoDub. Last updated: July 2026.

PhotoDub is operated by MRDD OÜ. This policy explains the categories of data that may be processed when users interact with PhotoDub websites, mobile apps, admin tools, support channels, or related services.

Data we may process

How data is used

Data may be used to provide PhotoDub functionality, process user requests, run AI-assisted editing, manage credits and purchases, improve product quality, prevent abuse, maintain security, provide support, and meet legal obligations.

Photo, prompt, and generated content processing

When a user chooses an AI-assisted feature, PhotoDub may upload the selected image and related prompt or settings so the requested edit can be processed. This processing may involve cloud hosting, storage, and external AI service providers. User-selected photos are not made public by PhotoDub for this purpose.

PhotoDub currently uses Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure and may use AI model providers made available through Replicate or similar service providers to process requested AI jobs. Providers may process submitted inputs and generated outputs only as needed to provide, secure, operate, and support the requested service, subject to their applicable terms and policies.

Temporary AI input files are intended to be deleted after processing or failed submission where technically possible. Generated outputs, job records, signed URLs, logs, and related metadata may remain for operational, security, credit, abuse-prevention, support, accounting, or legal reasons until they are no longer needed or deletion is requested and legally available.

Payments and purchases

AI Credit purchases made inside the iOS app are processed by Apple. PhotoDub may receive purchase status and transaction information needed to grant credits to the authenticated account, but PhotoDub does not receive the user's full App Store payment card details.

Service providers

PhotoDub may work with hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, payment, email, and support providers where needed to operate the service.

Tracking and advertising

PhotoDub does not use IDFA and does not use user-selected photos, prompts, or generated outputs for third-party advertising or tracking. If this changes, PhotoDub will update its disclosures before using data in that way.

User choices and requests

Users can avoid AI processing by not choosing AI-assisted features. Users may contact PhotoDub to request help with privacy questions, data access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, accounting, dispute handling, platform compliance, or legal obligations.
